Pharmacological Action: Tulathromycin inhibits bacteria primarily by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.
Indication: Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to tylosin, mainly effective against Gram-positive bacteria, with some activity against a few Gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma. Used primarily for the prevention and treatment of pneumonia in livestock (caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurellaspp., Mycoplasmaspp., etc.), mycoplasmosis in poultry, and mastitis in lactating animals.
Storage: Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light, in a cool, dark place.
